CAMP BOLTERDALEN AS

  1. VALIDITY OF THE AGREEMENT

Unless another agreement exists, this will be the valid agreement between Camp Bolterdalen AS (hereafter referred to as the organizer) and the customer (hereafter referred to as the orderer). Otherwise, the provisions in the Law on Package Tours apply to the journeys covered by the Law, and regulations on tourism and other travel activities.

  1. ORDER

When the orderer receives order confirmation from the organizer, this is considered accepted unless the orderer immediately notifies the organizer in writing of any deficiencies or errors in the order. The event is finally confirmed by the organizer upon payment of a deposit of 50% of the total price, according to the issued deposit invoice, or upon full payment.

  1. ORDER TERMS

When ordering, 50% is invoiced in advance as a deposit invoice. The invoice for the remaining amount or the entire order is sent no later than approx. 8 weeks before the start of the event, due 30 days before the event.

Note: For deliveries from subcontractors, these may be required to be paid in at 100%. For individual invoicing of group events, a fee is incurred. NOK –  Kr.250.00 per person or invoice.

  1. CANCELLATION OF GROUP ARRANGEMENTS

Orders made by one person on behalf of several are considered group arrangements, even if individual payment is requested at the final settlement. Cancellation of group events must be made in writing to the organizer within 90 days before the start of the event against a fee of NOK – Kr. 800.00

If an event is canceled between 60 and 30 days before the start of the event, 50% of the total amount is charged.

In case of cancellation 29 days or later before the start of the event, the customer will be charged the full price.

For air tickets purchased through the organizer, the airline’s conditions apply. Otherwise, the right to cancel applies to the extent that the organizer’s right to cancel is limited        vis-à-vis other contractors.

If a Force Majeure situation occurs at the destination or in the immediate vicinity of it in the last 14 days before departure. Referring to the law: – Package Tours section §4-1, cancellation can be made free of charge in accordance with the law.

  1. REDUCTION IN QUANTITY AND MORE

Up to 30 days before the start of the event, the number of travelers can be reduced by up to 10%. If the number is reduced later than 30 days before arrival, the full price will be charged. There is an opportunity to hand over the trip to a person who meets all the necessary conditions to participate in the trip, provided that the organizer is aware of this and it does not conflict with rules the organizer is bound by. The person who transfers and the person who takes over the trip are jointly and severally responsible for the payment of the trip, including more costs in connection with changes to the agreement and any liability the customer may incur on the trip.

  1. OTHER CHANGE BY THE CUSTOMER

Changes to activities or cancellation of activities can be made up to 60 days before the event for a fee of NOK – Kr. 400.00 per change.

  1. CHANGE BY THE ORGANIZER – LIMITATION OF THE ORGANIZER’S LIABILITY – FORCE MAJEURE

If weather conditions, a third party or other conditions cause delays, or make it impossible to carry out the agreed event, the organizer cannot be held liable for compensation. It is the organizer who decides whether the event is possible or not.

The organizer will also not be held financially responsible in connection with flight delays, flight cancellations, flight strikes, weather and traffic conditions, fire and other things beyond the organizer’s control. The event is considered handed over to the customer even if the customer does not attend at the agreed times as a result of events caused by third parties.

The organizer will always endeavor to find alternative solutions within the financial framework, and with the accommodation and activity resources that the organizer has available to everyone.

  1. ORDERER AND ORGANIZER’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE AND SETTLEMENT

The orderer will be responsible for all participants for damage caused to buildings and fixed installations, fixtures and moveables, tour equipment and other materials. The booker will be responsible for outstanding participant bills in connection with the event.

The booker and participants are themselves responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activities ordered. Participants are obliged to follow instructions given by tour leaders. The organizer does not take responsibility for damages and accidents beyond the organizer’s control, cf. sections 7 and 10.

  1. COMPLAINT

If the orderer claims defects in the delivery, this must be taken up with the organizer or its representatives at the first opportunity. If the defect cannot be rectified and the orderer wishes to advertise, this must be done as soon as possible after returning home. The complaint must be made in writing and no later than 1 month after the end of the event.

Both the organizer and the customer undertake to resolve any dispute amicably, possibly using a lawyer mediator. The case can possibly be brought before the Complaints Board for corporate travel by the customer, if the conditions for this are present.

Otherwise, general venue rules apply. Any lawsuit is governed by Norwegian law.

  1. INSURANCE

The destination is insured through its own insurance for the stay. The customer must take out full travel insurance to take part in the trip.

  1. ESPECIALLY FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS

Individuals, couples or small groups where payment is made individually.

When booking hotel stays, day trips or activities, the following conditions apply in addition to the above-mentioned points.

When ordering later than 30 days before arrival, credit card information is provided, or payment is made at the first opportunity.

Cancellation of day trips, activities and hotel rooms:
If canceled up to 21 days before arrival, a full refund is given.
If canceled 21-7 days before arrival, a 50% refund is given.
In case of cancellation 7 days or less before arrival, no refund is given.
